Stage 5 - Construction of a report forming a planning appeal.
Course aim
Construction of the report based on a planning appeal covering presentation, supplementary reports, strengths and weaknesses of argument, Arboricultural Implication Assessment and Arboricultural Method Statement..
The course tutor will provide guidance at each stage of the report construction and you will receive a completed report at the end of the day to use as a template if desired.
Course outcome
Candidates can write an excellent report that informs a planning inspector appropriately in order that they can determine the outcome of an appeal based on the most plausible evidence.
Course requirements
Essential – prior attendance at stage 1 report writing programme/experienced at report writing, , writing materials, reference books, laptop computer, a minimum level 3 (NQF) Arboricultural qualification
Desirable – Level 6 (NQF) Arboricultural qualification or studying towards a qualification such as the FRS professional diploma.
