Tree report writing is an additional skill required to that of simply being a good arboriculturist, the higher the level of report required the greater the degree of skill required to write a successful report for your clients.

Tree Life pride themselves on providing training of the highest quality based on their educational and Arboricultural expertise and experiences combined with that of practicing in the field. The courses would be taught by a qualified teacher, qualified expert witness who is also a registered consultant of the Arboricultural Association.

In our opinion a programme of one day courses is required to guide and to give the necessary feedback opportunities to candidates undertaking report writing instruction. Therefore, Tree Life has put together a practical programme that will allow a candidate to develop their report writing skills over a period of time and have those reports assessed informally and to receive feedback on their performance.

The programme is designed so that a candidate may join at any stage or can build upon their skills as time and experience allows. Each stage of the programme is timed and priced to reflect the staged approach and allow candidates to build upon their experiences. All prices are plus VAT at the standard rate.

Construction of a preliminary ground level report of a single tree inspection. - £130.00+Vat

Production and submission by post or email of a preliminary ground level report of a single tree by the candidate to Tree Life for feedback. - £55.00+Vat

Construction of a detailed or supplementary report where additional information resulting from for example from the use of decay detection and measurement equipment is to be included in the report. - £130.00+Vat

Construction of a first report following instructions received from a solicitor’s office relating to a dispute. - £150.00+Vat

Production and submission of a first report by email or post by the candidate to Tree Life for feedback. - £85.00+Vat

Follow on to stage 3a & 3b. Construction of a report to be used in a court room by a judge.- £180.00+Vat

Construction of a report forming a planning appeal.

Mortgage Report Writing Workshop - Construction of a report relating to the potential for woody vegetation to cause direct and indirect damage to a property. (you do not need to have attended the other report writing stages) - £130.00 + Vat

At all stages of the programme information will be provided on disc as templates for candidate use. It is envisaged that all candidates attending the course will bring with them a laptop computer for use on the day.

At all the stages as appropriate terms such as caveats, disclaimers, report limitations, summaries, statement of truth, expert declaration, glossary and expert cv will be explained.

The courses will held at the Tree Life Training Centre in Syston Leicestershire and the price will include teas, coffee, biscuits and a buffet lunch when attending the training centre.

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided
